Schizonepeta spikes are also known as Jia Su, Xiang Jing Qi, Jiang Jie, and Xian Qi. They are the dried flower spikes of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, a plant in the mint family. They are an exterior-releasing medicinal herb with a mildly warm nature and a pungent but gentle dispersing effect.
