Mulberry twigs are the dried young branches of the mulberry plant, a member of the mulberry family, and are used as an herb to dispel dampness.
They have a slightly bitter taste and neutral properties and are associated with the Liver meridian. They are traditionally used to dispel wind and dampness, promote circulation through the meridians, relieve pain, promote urination, reduce swelling, and provide antioxidant benefits. They are mainly used for rheumatic arthralgia, soreness, pain, and numbness in the shoulders, arms, and joints,hemiplegia after a stroke, edema and beriberi, and wind-induced itching of the skin and body.

Mulberry Twig Honey Tea
1. Dispels wind, clears heat, eliminates dampness, and relieves pain: Steep 20 grams of mulberry twigs in 250 milliliters of boiling water. After 15 minutes, add an appropriate amount of honey and drink.
2. Rheumatic bone pain: Use 50 grams each of overcrossing dragon, cortex lycii, and east-wind orange root,100 grams of mulberry twigs, and five bowls of water. Simmer until reduced to one bowl and take. Alternatively, use 60 grams of old mulberry twigs, 15 grams of salvia root, 10 grams of Sichuan lovage root, and one hen; simmer together for approximately 3 hours and season to taste.
3. Mulberry Twig and Cogongrass Root Soup: Use 30 grams each of mulberry twigs and cogongrass rhizome, and 9 grams each of mulberry leaves, forsythia fruit, platycodon root, and licorice. Add an appropriate amount of water, decoct daily, and take in two divided doses. Traditionally used to release the exterior with pungent, cooling properties and mainly indicated for external conditions associated with blood deficiency.

Shipping Issues
