Morinda root, also known as chicken-intestine vine and rabbit-intestine vine, is the dried root of Morinda officinalis, a plant in the madder family. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia explicitly requires the woody core to be removed before medicinal use because it contains lead; excessive or long-term consumption may cause lead poisoning. In addition, the woody core is cold in nature, which conflicts with the warming and tonifying effects of the outer root tissue.

Shipping Issues
Don't worry! All orders we ship include shipping insurance. If you do not receive your order or the items arrive severely damaged and unusable, please contact us so we can submit a claim on your behalf.
