Tips
Primarily for qi and blood deficiency, cold or deficient constitutions, or weak spleen and stomach: 12 g astragalus root, 6 g angelica root, 6 g dried red date slices, 3 slices dried ginger, and an appropriate amount of water (meat slices and salt may be added); simmer for about 30 minutes. Suitable 2–3 times per week, or stew with meat for 3 hours and season to taste.（Warms the middle, dispels cold, replenishes qi and blood, and strengthens the spleen and stomach）

Makes 2–3 servings: 16 oz chicken or black-boned chicken, 8 oz lean meat, 20 g ginseng, red ginseng, or Korean ginseng, and 20 g each of angelica root, prepared rehmannia root, astragalus root, codonopsis root, longan pulp, pitted red dates, goji berries, and cored white lotus seeds; stew with 3 bowls of boiling water at 100° for 4–5 hours.
The ancient formula for replenishing blood: Goddess Four-Substance Soup (ligusticum, angelica, rehmannia, and peony)
Ligusticum rhizome 8 g, angelica root 10 g, 12 g each of prepared rehmannia root and white peony root.
1. Add 12 g of red salvia root for enhanced blood circulation.
2、For excessive uterine bleeding: add 8 g of madder root and mugwort.10 g each of donkey-hide gelatin.
3、For unbearable menstrual pain: add 12 g of cyperus rhizome and 10 g of corydalis rhizome.
4、With concurrent qi deficiency: add 18 g of codonopsis root and 18 g of astragalus root.
5. BloodQi deficiency with coldness: add 5 g of cinnamon bark, turmeric, or processed ginger.
Soak the herbs in clean water for 30 minutes, then wash them thoroughly. Place them in a clay pot with approximately 3 bowls of water and bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes until reduced to 1 bowl of water. (Add brown sugar to taste.)
Note: People with a yang-excess constitution should replace “prepared rehmannia root” with “raw rehmannia root,” such as those who experience excessive internal heat after taking it. The formula may be adjusted to personal taste by adding pork bones, lean meat, ribs, or chicken and an appropriate amount of water to stew it as a medicinal food soup.
Nourishes yin and replenishes blood, boosts qi, and enriches essence: 9 g each of prepared polygonatum and angelica root (use half the amount when steeping in water), with half a chicken stewed as soup.

Shipping Issues
