In modern traditional Chinese medicine practice, it is commonly used to treat rebellious stomach qi, frequent belching, or vomiting.
Inula flowers:9 ~ 15 grams; must be decocted in a bag
Hematite:9 ~ 15 grams; crush
Fresh ginger:15 ~ 25 grams or (dried ginger 6～9 grams), sliced
Prepared pinellia: 9 ~ 12 grams
Dried ginseng:6 ~ 9 grams; slice into small pieces (use red ginseng in cases of severe qi deficiency)
Honey-fried licorice root: 6 ~ 9 grams
Red dates: Remove the pits from 6 large jujubes (about 12 small jujubes).
- Pre-decoct hematite: Place the crushed hematite in the pot first, add 600 ~ 800 milliliters of water (about 3 ~ 4 bowls), bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and decoct for 30 minutes first.
