Curculigo rhizomealso known asCurculigo root, ground palm root, mountain Codonopsis, yellow-root ginseng, sky palm, soil peony root, and others.It is the dried rhizome of the perennial herb Curculigo orchioides in the Amaryllis family and is used in traditional Chinese medicine as a tonic for deficiency syndromes.
It is pungent and hot in nature, with slight toxicity. It enters the Kidney, Liver, and Spleen meridians.
It is traditionally used to warm and tonify Kidney yang, strengthen the sinews and bones, nourish essence and blood, dispel cold and dampness, invigorate the blood and regulate menstruation, combat hypoxia, reduce inflammation, help prevent osteoporosis, reduce swelling and relieve pain, enhance immunity, and protect the liver.
Used forerectile dysfunction,coldness of the essence, infertility due to uterine cold, weakness of the sinews and bones, cold-damp arthralgia of the lower back and knees, diarrhea due to Kidney yang deficiency, swollen and painful sores, venomous snake bites, and more. It is commonly used to make tea, decoctions, infused liquor, and soups.

Er-Xian Decoction: 9 g each of Curculigo rhizome, Epimedium, and Chinese angelica root; 6 g each of cork tree bark and Anemarrhena rhizome. Decoct in water and divide into 2 warm doses.
Curculigo Chicken Soup: 16oz chicken, 9 g Curculigo rhizome, 50 g gorgon fruit, 6 pitted red dates, ginger slices, and an appropriate amount of water.

Shipping Issues
